How are we supposed to talk money if we have never learned it? How are we supposed to teach our children how to handle money if money is a secret? More than half of young people do not feel adequately prepared for the future when it comes to money and finances. Two-thirds of parents are concerned about whether their children's school is preparing them well for life - topic in second place: financial education. At the same time, 79% of children and young people say that their parents are the most important source of financial knowledge. However, some parents do not know how to impart financial knowledge. What's more, the topic of money is still taboo (even though it plays such an important role in our lives every day...). In this workshop, you will learn why it is important to talk about money, how to teach financial knowledge and the practical handling of money, as well as the rules for investing and providing for children (saving, insuring, investing). Please note that this lecture is purely a transfer of knowledge, not individual investment advice. By registering, you are taking a binding part in the course. The #Keep fit+ project is funded by the state of Carinthia, so participation is free of charge. This course takes place online, you will receive the link at least 2 hours before the course starts. Registration closes by 12 noon on the day of the event.
