Introduction to the Carinthian World Landscape National, Biosphere and Nature Parks with special consideration of the Dobratsch Nature Park and the Nature Conservation Act
In this lecture you will get to know the large protected areas of Carinthia in comparison to similar areas worldwide. We will highlight the differences and similarities between national parks, biosphere reserves and nature parks and explain the respective legal frameworks. We will also introduce you to the most important animal and plant species, with a special focus on the Dobratsch and Weißensee nature parks.
This introductory lecture is an ideal basis and is recommended for the other nature park dates.
