Remark: For the excursion (07:30 to approx. 10:30 a.m.), we recommend wearing warm clothing adapted to the weather conditions and (if available) taking along binoculars. Please do not bring dogs.
Of Austria's 212 breeding bird species, some breed in our immediate vicinity, such as the black redstart, barn swallow, swift or European goldfinch! On a foray through the world of birds "on our doorstep", you will learn all kinds of interesting facts about our feathered friends. Our experts will give you tips and tricks for bird identification and show you how you can make your garden bird-friendly. This course is particularly suitable for beginners.

The course consists of a 70-minute lecture and a 3-hour excursion:
Lecture: Saturday, April 5, 2025 18:00 to 19:30, AK Bildungsforum, Room 210
Excursion: Sunday, April 6, 2025 7:30 to 10:30 - Meeting point: Parking lot under the freeway bridge at the Wernberger Drauschleife
