How can we talk about money if we have never learned it ourselves?
How are we supposed to teach our children (of all ages) how to handle money well if money is a secret? Even 4-year-old children understand the idea of money.
More than half of young people do not feel adequately prepared for the future when it comes to money and finances.
Two thirds of parents are worried about whether school is preparing their children well for life - topic in second place: financial education.
At the same time, 79% of children and young people say that their parents are the most important source of financial knowledge.
However, some parents do not know how to impart financial knowledge.
What's more, the topic of money is still taboo (even though it has such a strong influence on our lives every day...).
So invest a little of your time in your children's future to take from my tips & tricks box what you can use regarding financial education in everyday life.
In this talk (where discussion is not only possible, but welcome!) you will learn
why it is important to talk about money,
how to teach financial knowledge and practical money management,
which rules are suitable,
ways to invest and make provisions for children and young people (saving, insuring, investing).
Please note that this lecture is purely a transfer of knowledge, not individual investment advice.
