What is the difference between traditional propaganda and modern digital radicalization? What mechanisms ensure that people are drawn deeper and deeper into extremist ideologies? In this course, we will delve into the history of extremist movements, from the propaganda strategies of past centuries to the filter bubbles of today. We will analyze the role played by platforms such as TikTok, Telegram & Co, the dangers posed by radical influencers and how Islamism and right-wing extremism influence each other.
