Our "Sure-footedness, walking technique and overcoming fear of heights" course is aimed at mountain hikers who want to improve their skills in alpine terrain. The course is ideal for participants who want to improve their basic skills or hike without a guide in the future. The course is also suitable as preparation for prospective mountain guides to improve their practical skills before they start their professional training.
The 7 to 8-hour course teaches practical techniques for improving surefootedness and walking technique as well as overcoming fear of heights. During a joint mountain hike, various types of terrain are covered and participants learn how to use poles correctly and how to deal with difficult passages safely. The course places particular emphasis on risk management and safety aspects in order to avoid accidents caused by inadequate planning or insufficient preparation.
