Bildung für junge Flüchtlinge

Am 17. Dezember 2015 wurde der Unterricht für 16 nicht mehr schulpflichtige jugendliche Flüchtlinge in der Polytechnischen Schule Klagenfurt eingestellt. Am darauffolgenden Montag vor Weihnachten startete für diese Zielgruppe der erste „Basisbildungskurs für junge Flüchtlinge“ in den Kärntner Volkshochschulen.

as Projekt "Basisbildung für junge Flüchtlinge" unterstützt jugendliche, nicht mehr schulpflichtige MigrantInnen beim Sprung entweder in den Arbeitsmarkt oder in das Schulsystem Kärntens. In Kleingruppen werden dabei individuelle Lernziele definiert und erarbeitet. Fokus liegt dabei auf dem Erlernen der lateinischen Schrift sowie unterschiedlicher notwendiger Kompetenzen, die zur Erlangung von Formal-Abschlüssen notwendig sind.

Zielgruppe
Nicht mehr schulpflichtige jugendliche MigrantInnen bis zum 20. Lebensjahr

Projektziel
Unterstützung der Zielgruppe bei der Integration in bestehende Strukturen des Schul- und Erwerbsystems

Kursorte
Klagenfurt, Villach, Wolfsberg, Völkermarkt, Spittal, Feldkirchen, St. Veit und Hermagor

Kursstruktur
Die Kurse finden vier Mal wöchentlich statt

Bildungsberatung für junge Flüchtlinge

Wir beraten junge Flüchtlinge kostenlos über Weiterbildung und berufliche Integration. Die Beratung ist unabhängig vom laufenden Asylverfahren und wird kärntenweit von den Kärntner Volkshochschulen angeboten.

Unser Angebot umfasst unter anderem:

  • Kennenlernen und Entdecken der eigenen Fähigkeiten, Stärken, Potenziale und Kompetenzen; Erstellen eines Kompetenzprofils
  • Erfassen bisheriger Ausbildungswege
  • Überblick über Bildungs- und Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten (Anknüpfen an Anschlussmöglichkeiten im österreichischen Bildungssystem und am Arbeitsmarkt, Vermittlung an Schulen, Arbeitgeber, Bildungsträger etc.)
  • Mehrsprachige Beratung durch Peers

in unterschiedlichen, bedürfnisangepassten Beratungssettings wie Einzel-, Gruppenberatung sowie Beratungs-Cafes

Zielgruppe:
Asylwerbende Jugendliche im Alter von 15 bis 19 Jahren, die in keiner AMS-Maßnahme sind und noch nicht beraten wurden
